Michele Langone

Landscape Designer
Michele Langone holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Sustainable Landscape Horticulture from the University of Vermont. She got her start working at both retail and wholesale nurseries in her home state of Massachusetts and has been designing landscapes in Westchester and Fairfield Counties since 2013. Michele is an Instructor at the New York Botanical Garden, where she teaches classes on topics ranging from container plantings to designing with perennials. She is passionate about sustainable gardens and loves finding creative design solutions to craft beautiful, useful spaces for her clients.

Matthew McMillan

Landscape Designer
Matt left a successful career on Wall Street to focus on his true passion for garden design as an art form. He holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Design from Columbia University, a BA from College of the Holy Cross (Economics, Studio Art), and had extensive coursework in Landscape Design and Horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden. Matt specializes in New Perennials and natives-focused design layouts as well as large tree plantings and more traditional formal arrangements. He designed his first garden professionally over 20 years ago and has been working exclusively in this industry since 2012. Prior to joining Pound Ridge Nursery, he worked at several high-end nurseries in Fairfield County. His designs have been selected for the GEC Grandiflora Tour in 2017 and 2018.

Laura McKillop

Landscape Designer
Laura has been in the landscape design profession in northern Westchester since 2003. She is a 2007 graduate of the Columbia University masters program in Landscape Design, and she holds a certificate in Landscape Design from the New York Botanical Garden, where she has been an Instructor since 2008. Laura is knowledgeable about all aspects of landscape design, including hardscapes such as terraces, walks, and driveways as well as many styles of planting. She enjoys researching and implementing the newest design techniques, materials and plants. Creating beautiful, functional gardens is Laura’s goal for each client.
